Child and Adolescent Psychologist
Dr. Laura Bruscantini is a child and adolescent psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Albizu University in Miami. Dr. Bruscantini completed her pre-doctoral internship training at UCSF Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and a post-doctoral fellowship in child and adolescent psychology at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West in New York City. Her clinical interests include early childhood mental health, adverse childhood experiences, strengthening parent-child relationships and serious mental illness (SMI) in adolescents.
Dr. Bruscantini’s work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at medical conferences. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
